Forbes article on Environmental Education
Posted on 06/25/2019 by jtreeinpark

James Ellsmoor, a Forbes entrepreneur and founder of the Virtual Island Summit writes “Environmental Education Will Shape a New Generation of Decision Makers” in the online edition of Forbes Magazine.

“The belief that ‘conservation starts with education’ has been firmly rooted in many programs worldwide that seek to improve environmental health as well as how people interact with nature. Usually promoted by local non-governmental organizations or private companies, environmental education has now been embraced by schools who recognize that students have much to gain by understanding sustainable development and its associated technologies.” This excerpt is from Forbes Magazine where the full story can be read, or download Forbes Environmental Education (PDF).
