Traveling Safely in the Desert
Objective:
Students will learn about the four cardinal directions, and how to use them to stay safe when exploring in the desert. We will use compasses to orient ourselves around the school’s campus and learn how to apply these skills to other nearby places in the desert.
Where: The JTREE team will meet students in the classroom.
Materials/Supplies: Provided by JTREE.
