Big Questions: How do plants survive in a desert habitat?

Small Question: What does the desert willow need to survive in the desert?

Objective: Students will be able to describe the desert habitat, the desert willow, and how it survives in the desert.

Materials: Water bottles and sunscreen. JTREE will provide remaining materials.

Vocabulary:  Habitat, Biome, Survival, Climate, Adaptation.

3-LS4-3 Biological Evolution: Unity and Diversity
Construct an argument with evidence that in a particular habitat some organisms can survive well, some survive less well, and some cannot survive at all.
