Field Instructors and Interns invited to apply

Joshua Tree Residential Education Experience (JTREE) is currently accepting applications for Field Instructors and Interns. For details and to submit your application visit Job Opportunities.

APPLICATION DEADLINE: August 21, 2023 A total of (8) eight paid positions, including a Program Director, are the result of a grant received from the State of CA Parks and Recreation. Beginning in Fall 2023, JTREE will provide outdoor education experience to the students of Oasis Elementary School in Twentynine Palms, CA through our special grant program called “Adventure Calling Oasis Elementary“. Over the course of the academic school year, students will explore the outdoors in their school community as well as on field trips into Joshua Tree National Park. The program will repeat for each academic school year through Spring 2026. Some of the curriculum activity goals will include: • Reviving the Oasis (at Oasis Elementary School) • Observing the Night Sky • Learning History • Understanding the Outdoors in the Mojave Desert • and…learn how to mentor and collaborate with fellow students!
